8 Flights In One Week !!! 2/19/2010

My show Our Voice - A Celebration of Black Women In Music just travelled to 4 Universities around the country performing. It was amazing and exhausting.... but, mostly amazing. I travelled with cast members, Alana Simone, Nadine Roden, and Joel Rene. We went to Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California, Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, and Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. It was an amazing trip. The schools were amazing and hospitiable. We performed our best and took each city in stride. I can't believe I took 8 flights in one week. It was soooo cold in Michigan and Iowa. We actually saw a flock of deer run across the road on our way to the airport in Michigan. It was awesome! It was nice to get to California for the last 2 schools - but, it was raining. At least is wasn't freezing cold. At the end of the trip, my husband met us in California, and we went to Disneyland - so fun!!! The next day we drove back to Vegas and I performed 2 shows at Phantom. It was a whirlwind - but, well worth it. Next week, I am heading to Kentucky with my show The Soprano Sisters performing at Morehead State University in Morehead, KY. I can't wait. Busy Busy Bumble Bee - New Performance DATES Added - Yeah!!! 11/16/2009

It has been a long time since I have updated my site. I have been SOOOOO busy! But, all the hard work is paying off. My show, Our Voice, has been booked at 3 schools so far in February 2010 (see Schedule for dates, locations, and times). My other show, The Soprano Sisters, is going to be performing at East Bonanza Theater, West Las Vegas Library Theater, and Summerlin Library Theater. See the schedule for all of the dates and time. I am super excited. The cast for the upcoming performances of The Soprano Sisters is Kimberly "Kimmie" Kidd, Joel Rene, and myself. The library shows are to benefit a wonderful program called Shoes for Children, which collects and donates shoes to needy children. Admission for these shows are a pair of children's shoes. A Successful Premiere!!! 7/14/2009

My show, The Soprano Sisters, successfully premiered this past weekend on July 11th. And I am so proud of my friends and cast members, Danielle White and Kimberly "Kimmie" Kidd. We will be releasing an album of The Soprano Sisters later on this year, so stay tuned. Rehearsals, Rehearsals, Rehearsals!!! 6/25/2009

I have been in the throngs of rehearsal for about a month now. It fills good to be nearing the final stretch. Busy Busy March Madness!!! 4/7/2009

March was BUSY BUSY BUSY but soooo much fun! My birthday was a couple of days ago - March 31st. It was so great! I went to Disneyland to celebrate - WOO HOO! I also had a lot of perfomance dates out of Las Vegas. I performed with the show I created, Our Voice, in South Carolina on March 25th at Coastal Carolina University. The show was fun and the University was beautiful! I wish I could have stayed longer. It was so much fun! We got to stay at a hotel in Myrtle Beach overlooking the ocean! I also got to perform in Riverside, CA on March 29th for a cabaret called Caffenated Cabaret. It was great fun as well... check out the video of me singing "Blue Skies" on my media page. HAPPY NEW YEAR in February!!! 2/28/2009

It is well into 2009 and I am finally updating my blog! Life is great! Christmas and New Years were great! I got to spend it with family, which is the most important thing! This year - 2009 - I plan to perform my music live more often. So ... look on my TOUR page for listings on when I'm performing next. My LA show turned out great! My pianist wasn't able to play that night, so I ended up playing on my own. It turned out great! I think I will play for myself more often! It wasn't as terrifying as I thought it would be! It was also great to see all of my friends and family! My sister, Kim, sang one of the songs with me, which was super fun! We haven't performed together since High School! My friend, Danielle, sang back up with me and one duet! She is very supportive and talented! I had a great time at home in LA! It was a perfect day - I went to Malibu for lunch, and then performed in the evening! IT WAS PERFECT!

Coming Home To Do A Show! 6/12/2008

Liberace Musuem Was Wonderful April 14, 2008

Well ... I had a fantastic time performing at the Liberace Musuem yesterday! It was a nice Sunday afternoon, just like I had hoped. Afterwards my husband and I went to the movies and saw, "Nim's Island." I really liked it! I love whimsical movies like that! After that we went home and relaxed. We were both super exhausted! Any way... for those who came to the show... THANK YOU! It was wonderful to share my music with you! And for those who were unable to attend... I am planning more shows as I write! So I have decided that my new album will be released on March 31, 2009... my 30th Birthday! I know we aren't supposed to talk about age in this busines... BUT ... you know what... I have accomplished a lot so far ... and I am excited to be turning 30... why not celebrate for real with an album release party and concert!!!! YEAH!

Back In The Studio With My Band March 27, 2008

So... I am going back into the studio with my newly formed Band... WOO HOO!!! We will be recording my new full album... my debut to the world... I am super excited! It probably will not be released until 2009. But... I will keep you updated on the progress!

I Got Married July 1, 2007

Hoveg and my wedding was unbelievable and beautiful! Everything came together just perfect! We got married at the Bellagio Hotel here in Las Vegas. Our reception was in the Penthouse Suite overlooking the Bellagio fountains. It was so gorgeous! My family and friends were all there! Hoveg looked very handsome! It was a perfect day! Then we left the next morrning for Hawaii for our honeymoon!

Well, there is soooo much to share. I am getting married (YEAH!!!) to my long time sweetheart, Hoveg Dernersesian. I am sooo excited. I just finished my new CD, "Nicole Pryor-Unplugged".
